President and Chief Executive Officer
Joseph F. Furlong III

Mr. Furlong has served as American HomePatient’s President and Chief Executive Officer since November 1998. His professional history includes partnership positions with Colman Furlong & Co., a merchant banking firm; Robertson Stephens, an investment banking company; and McKinsey & Company, an international management consulting firm. Since 1984, Mr. Furlong’s experience and business activities have been focused largely in the area of healthcare.

Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer
Frank Powers

Mr. Powers joined American HomePatient in November 2004 as Executive Vice President with the primary responsibility for Sales and Marketing. Before joining the company, Mr. Powers served as an executive officer of Matria Healthcare, Inc. from 1996 until 2002. Prior to joining Matria Healthcare, Mr. Powers spent more than 12 years as an officer of Healthdyne, Inc. During his tenure at Healthdyne, Inc., he spent a significant amount of time as President of the Home Care Group, which provided products and services to the home care market.

Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer
Stephen L. Clanton

Mr. Clanton joined American HomePatient in January of 2005 as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Clanton previously served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of DESA, LLC, a manufacturer of residential heating products and specialty tools; as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of International Comfort Products, a manufacturer of residential and light commercial HVAC equipment; and as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer with Falcon Products, a commercial furniture manufacturer. He also held positions with Emerson Electric Co. and Arthur Andersen & Co.
