Purpose: The QA Specialist is responsible for the quality assurance function within a patient support center.
Inspect orders and supporting documentation prior to submitting to the Billing Department to determine if the paperwork is present and completed accurately
Coordinate the correction and resubmission of paperwork returned by the Billing Department as non-compliant
Inspect order paperwork to determine if all documents required to process the order are present and accurately completed
Quality check each order prior to shipment to ensure order accuracy and patient eligibility
Work with supervisors on the development and implementation of ongoing training
High school graduate
Minimum of 1 year of experience in home medical equipment industry
Knowledge of Medicare DMERC guidelines and requirements
Detail-oriented with the capability to apply knowledge of DMERC guidelines and company business office procedures to position
